From Golf 1 to Fabrication Companies -Have a Mentor to Guide You

When deciding which the area of life or business you would like to pursue have someone who can guide you in the process. Let me tell you a short story here, my mentor was a high school teacher and worked for 7 years as an educator and then he was driving a white Golf 1,
and was selling clothes from the boot of the car, he later sold the car and was walking to work for some time. People started gossips, he bought a bakkie (van) and started selling on weekends when he knocks off. He was selling clothes, hair products, and skin care products from Gauteng to Free State every weekend, he did this until he was able to buy his first house cash. He opened a stationery shop and traded there for a while until he secured a contract to supply schools in Gauteng and Free State with stationery. He left the job to concentrate on business with sales going up he ventured in construction and was a contractor for home insurance companies. When I was at University studying my qualification in Engineering I used to work at his company during holidays per insurance per week he could make about R180 000 and with other contracts he had he was making about R 500 000 per month that means approximately per month we can talk of R 700 000 to R 900 000. He bought sport cars like he was in a contest, bought a house of his dreams, recently bought two Fabrication companies. We all have some where to start.
